Does the lucky 8 spacer go under the bottom cup?

and all fox shocks are installed with the piston upside down right?

I’m 99% sure until a friend came over and said that those spacers goes on top and I’m installing the shocks upside down...

Spacer... there is just no way this can go on top, it doesn’t even sit on top of the springs...

Piston travel side down. I dunno about the spacer.

 

Spacer puck is installed under the coil retainer plate - just as you have it in your photo.
(this will be true front/back)
