Default Which Radiator D2?

I want to replace the radiator on my '03 and add the 180º stat.
What are some good rads to consider without spending more than $250-280?
I have SAI.

I'll probably replace all hoses too. Is it a good idea to stick with LR Genuine or is OEM good enough for the system?
LR hoses adds 20-30%

I'm thinking this might also be a good time to replace the hard plastic expansion lines with rubber fuel hose.
There was a good post here about the size and length of hose but can't find it now...

Lastly, with 96K on the clock, I'm considering the water pump too.
Is the part STC4378X from BP Utah the brass Airtex pump? Is this still a good pump?

I appreciate your insight as many of you have already been down this path.

One of
these these
just went into my car this past week.

Talk with Zack for Rovers North and he should be able to hook you up with a lot of what you need. Stick with the Land Rover TD5 thermostat, but you can get OEM hoses and they will work just fine. I don't know about the water pump, however.

That's the right H2O pump. Best radiator is Nissns, but it's probably 10% better product for 100% more cost over the one from 2003 Land Rover Discovery RADIATOR RAD37670X7868A 4.6L V8 278 | Radiator | Land Rover Auto Parts which is working perfectly and dropped my overall temps about 5 degrees (running 194-196F).

Can't speak to the hoses, though there are several on the forum who can and I'm sure will in due time.

I would recommend OE hoses. Aftermarket top hose from RoversNorth looked like that. They said, if will come up under pressure, but I didn't take my chances, so I've sent it back, wasting shipping charges both ways, which run to the price difference with OE hose, bought from AB.
