What is wrong with your old one?
Where are you buying your replacement from?
How mechanical are you?
It is real staright forward to do, while you are doing it, consider replacing your t/stat, serpentine belt. possibly the fan clutch if it is getting weak and inspect the water pump for leakage.

I started out replacing the water pump. thats how I noticed the radiator the old one is leaking at the end caps I did a search and it looks like fixing the old one is as expensive as buying a new one so i bought new one for 300 dollars. I have also replaced the serpentine belt. is there a good test for the fan clutch? I will go get a t stat. im an ok mechanic. i shoped around for a manual because im good with pictures Righr now I just cant see where to take the bolts out I started to remove a panel from the bottom of the bumper only to realize that the bols where not there.

I haven't replaced mine so I won't be much help there. Don't forget to buy 2 gals of Dex Cool, the orange coolant, and make sure you bleed out all the air from the engine.
As fo the fan hub, if when cold, it has a lot of some resistance you should be fine.

I just replaced the radiator on my 98 disco. I dont know if they have the same setup though. If so, its not to hard. remove the fan shroud (two clips on the top then lift up) then start by draining the coolant by detatching the bottom hose. then remove atf lines, remaining cooling lines and oil cooler lines. be sure to make sure you keep your trans/oil line o-rings or get new ones. the radiator was bolted in place with two bolts at the top. once u have these removed and all lines detached, simply lift up the radiator as it sits on two pins in place. Like I said, yours could be different. But mine seemed pretty straight forward. good luck!
