Default Radio Theft Locked

Hello friends, brothers, and MERRY CHRISTMAS my fellow Rover-Lovers!

Update: My 2004 problem must have been the starter last time, because it went again, and a new starter fixed it.

A HUGE thank-you to Phil (Spike) for pointing me toward that place in Zeeland- $50 instead of $250!

MY QUESTION NOW:

They unhooked my battery to do the job, and my radio theft-locked.

It's only been an hour, but I'm already having withdrawals from Green Day: My hands are shaking, my head aches, and I'm a right-wing nutjob.

Okay... maybe the last one isn't to do with not having Green Day...

ANYWAY- it's one of those with the Navigation system, and it's asking for a 6 or 7 digit code.

I found a site that, if you submit your VIN, it'll give you the code... It costs $25- which is fine- but I want to know if there's an easier way, or if the site is even legit.

THANKS BROTHERS!!!

Pat

Your local land rover delaer should give you the code for free, if its not in the documentation that came with the vehicle.

Time to open the "Audio Owners Guide" that is in the glove box, there should be a credit card in there that says "radio code", enter that code.
Otherwise call The Sharpe Collection on 28th street with the VIN# and maybe be near a fax machine.
They may want/need proof that it is your truck.

I wish it had come with documentation... I would definitely have checked that.

I paid a site to investigate it for me based on the VIN, but the code they returned wasn't even the proper number of characters. This is indeed the factory radio, as well.

I'll call the GR dealer on Monday....

I'm in a music coma...
