Default Radio voice volume low?

Recently, the voice volume with music has been low. I have the factory standard radio. I adjusted the EQ and that didn't help. I checked that each speaker is on and seems to be working correctly. The music sounds good as usual, both treble and bass coming through. But the singer's voice is almost inaudible. I've tried different types of music and still mostly the same outcome.

My music source is Google Play Music on an iPhone through Bluetooth via a cassette receiver. I've had the same equipment for some time with no issues until now, maybe a week now. Nothing else has changed.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you played the actual radio to see if the problem is in the head unit/amp system or in your device setup?

Yes. When the radio is on, it sounds like an echo - as if the radio were being played through a phone. Odd. I was able to adjust the EQ settings in the phone and that has helped some.

Thanks.
