How are the eBay replacements holding up?

I'm not sure how much headroom you have, but I was thinking you were going to build another shelf, using the indention for extra clearance to store things. Take the same concept of the shelf above the visor and apply it to the sunroof area.

I love 'em! Haven't had any issues with them at all. I'd recommend them. they light the interior up very well. I've had them in for probably 8 months or so, I'm guessing. I can't really remember when I put them in. May be closer to a year. I put them in both our D2's and they've held up very well.

You can purchase them in RED LED. Just search ebay.

LED technology is more efficient, brighter and produces less heat as a result of the being more efficient part. Heat is a byproduct of when energy isn't used efficiently.
