Has anyone replaced their cargo glass on their Disco 2? My car got hit by a kayak and my cargo window shattered. I managed to get the gasket and glass off. Do I need to buy another Landrover gasket or can I use a different moulding? Whats the best adhesive to use. Thanks any insight or tips would be much appreciated.

The glass on my 05 LR3 is also cracked (I have no idea how it happened) but have never had a single issue with it. From above you can hardly even see it even when looking directly at it. From the inside it's clearly visible and you can feel the cracks.

All that said, I called to have an estimate for repair and true to Rovers it's a bitch! It can only be ordered from the dealer, no after market. The shop I called in Seattle area would do it for $1750. I'm on my way to see if a glass shop can repair it with filler like they do on windshields. If that can't be done then I'll drive it till it leaks and deal with it then.
