A couple of my lock actuators have failed, so I'm bravely attempting to replace my rear door lock motor. Page 76-1-10 (76.37.13) of the Rave Manual has me confused. Item 2 is to "release exterior handle control rod from latch", but the image gives little detail on how this works and the space is too tight in the door to get a good view. I've tried to yank on the rod attached to the handle as well as the rod end attached to the motor assembly (held by a green piece of plastic?) with little success. I'm wary of breaking something. Anyone have experience with this step?
