Okay I am still looking for a drivers exterior door handle for my 96 Range and having troubles finding a used one. If I do find one with a key, how is it going to work with starting the vehicle? Im hoping someone can guide me with a how to because it would really suck to have to use 2 keys (one to open and one to start). I dont have remote opener for my range. The plastic piece broke on my handle and wondering if I do find one, can I replace the guts with key hole for mine? Thanks in advanced?

 

I think you can swap the locks from one handle to another. It might be a little tricky though.

Do you know if the key section can be changed out? Since the plastic piece that screws on broke, the spring was not in the correct location and to be honest I have no idea how to get the spring back on. Just wondering how much of a pain this is going to be.

I have a 2000 range and went out the other day to open my driver door, and the handle came right off...Dose anyone have a lay out on the driver door assembly or any ideas on how to replace it?
