Default Rear Parking Sensors

I just picked up a 2004 Disco with rear parking sensors. How do the sensors work? I only seem to hear a beeping from the left of the car. I guess that’s normal. Just want to make sure that the sensors aren’t supposed to make sounds from the right side when an object is near the right side and left side when an object is on the left side.

I pay just about zero attention to the PDC, but here are some of the basic operations of the system. Hope that helps.

Only one sounder located in the left rear of the vehicle, so yours is working correctly.
