Rear wheel hub assembly question.
Roger that.
I was reading another thread on torque settings and I read that the torque setting for the castle nut is something like 365 ft lb or 490 nm? I was wondering how do you ensure that the castle nut lines up with the axle notch so that you can peen it? Or is it any part of the castle nut can be peened into the axle notch?
Also, is it really necessary to get it to 365 ft lb? I have a torque wrench that goes up to 355 foot pounds Is that extra 10 ft pounds really necessary? I'm not really into buying another torque wrench but I will if I have too.

Front ABS sensors in the rear = no extensions needed as they are longer vs stock rear units. I recommend that on any lifted D2 that flexes off road. Option B is also something that all LR D2 owners should do as it helps greatly narrow down issues with the ABS/TC/HDC system.
Yes my 99 & 02 Kalahari are both running front ABS sensors in the rear. Sensor itself = identical, only difference = length of wire and a few little rubber grommets ment for routing it thru the front fender (you can carefully cut them off if you want it to look cleaner).
