To rebuild or not to rebuild...
The hone isn't very much $ and the satisfaction can't be measured. The drill is something that will serve you for years to come. By the time you need the next caliper done, it will have paid for the hone and a decent drill.
The batteries for my drill died and they are not cheap.
I am going to buy a cheap corded drill so that I always have one and still get new batteries for mine one day.
Has anyone actually done this though?
I could figure it out, I ain't smart but I ain't stupid either but I also dont want to spend 4 days doing a 2 hour job.

I rebuilt all 4 calipers on my truck. It's really easy, 2 seals and 1 retaining ring per piston. Usually the kit does the 2 rear or one front. I also replaced the pistons for stainless ones, since some of the original ones had corrosion.
And since I had the calipers off I used a wire brush to remove rust and I repainted them.
