so i think i am gonna rebuild my 4.0 in the bus... i discovered a crack in my passenger side valve cover and i think i have blown both head gaskets because oil seems to come from everywhere... so where is a good place to get everything i would need to do the whole job right the first time...

 

There was a guy on here from eurotek APG that sells parts pretty reasonable. I think head gaskets are what I would be most worried about. You have to get the right composite, or you are wasting your time.

Of course, there are still the staple stores....most have a few, if not all of what you need. I'll bet Mike will get on here and ask you why you are doing the whole thing and not just fixing the problem, but when I finally get around to doing my heads, I am going to do the whole thing too.

 

The right composite? The correct composite material? what is the correct material? I have a headgasket set that I bought that is not rover brand...(oh no!!) I got the composite gaskets and related stuff to do the headgasket change, now I am worried about whether I have the correct composite gaskets, the fun never stops lol.
