Default Recommended differential fluids?

So I just changed the gear oil in my t-case and I'm considering changing the differential fluid as well as I will be away from the Rover for about a month and it has not been changed since purchase.

Considering the mileage of the truck(130,000) should I consider using a heavier weight? Synthetic vs regular? Etc..

Thanks

What the owners handbook lists is fine.
Synthetic or dino oil, either one, is fine. Personally I use cheap dino and change it more often. If you rarely off-road anywhere wet then the cost of synthetic isn't cost prohibitive.

What he said. ^
I use 85w-140 el chepo gear lube from Tractor Supply Co. and change it once a year.
Or soon if water gets in after a 'froadin' trip.
