I hear ya. getting specialty anything in MT is pretty much an internet-only proposition- Google shopping "Redline Shockproof". You'll find it for $10/qt, about what any premum synthetic costs. The $15 shipping is a kicker though. Whatcanyado.
If someone tries it in the D2 diffs, please post your driving impressions. The only reference to the differential application was a guy on the benzo post. He said gear wear in the diff stopped after switching over toShockproof in his military surplus G-class, would never dream of going back to straight synthetic. No data on weight, intervals, etc. but still sounded like it was worth some experimentation.
