Default Continuation of the Redline Shockproof in the T-Case thread...

For some reason, I can't post a reply to the discussion about the Redline Transfer case oil, so I ended up posting this as a new thread... apologies...

Just drained the T-Case and refilled with Mobile 1 75-140. Not the most accesible job, but not too evil... Hopefully it will quiet down the T-Case noise.

I did notice a bit more metal particles on the magnetic drain plug than I expected.... is this normal? What have others experienced?

In case anyone is wondering, it takes 140 pumps on one of those cheap plastic insert pumps to move a quart of fluid. The random things you think of to pass the time while lying under your rover....
