No images of your mats in a Land Rover, fail.

Who wants leather mats in your rover? If the mats don't catch dirt water and boot grime I want NOTHING to do wit them. A Land rover is a UTILITARIAN vehicle !

Here in SC, it seems every parking lot has a lot of sand and really small, gritty rocks, which are constantly sticking to my shoes. I can imagine completely destroying a leather floor mat in about a month, unless it was very sturdy, abrasion resistant (think thick, tough leather like Saddleback Leather uses).

PS. I keep wondering why car makers insist on putting carpet on the floors of our cars. Do they expect us to go barefoot? Who the hell cares how soft and fluffy it feels. Every car I get I usually end up putting those Weather Tech floor mats, which other than water (and snow melt) holding, pretty much bring me to par with the rubberized floor like old base model pickups used to have (like 70s and 80s). I would love to just have rubber flooring on all of my cars. Kid spills a drink or tracks in mud/****, who cares just hose it out!

Carpet just helps trap moisture and provides a home for bacteria, mold, and smoke smells.

Can we please just have rubber footwells and the lunatics that want carpet can buy the carpet OEM floor mats.

Sorry for the rant, but automakers have been screwing this up completely for decades.

I was just thinking about that the other day. With me doing some pretty intensive modifications to my truck, I wont be able to use some of the factory carpet at some point at least in the rear. I'm still debating on what to do.

Of course, the reason manufacturers use carpet is because for one it looks good, but also because of its insulating properties (both sound and heat).

It's plastic. Premeleather is hard core vinyl. Apparantly.

Still going to get scratched to sh*t.

And boy they look fugly.

The padded nature of them will have certain insulating properties though. Maybe the only redeeming feature of such a dreadful product.

Any way I could get these embroidered with my last name in cyrillic script? Also, can I get a matching dash cover, steering wheel cover, and seatbelt pads?

I'm super interested. Really.
