you're looking good now. can you imagine all the crap that's on new landrovers these days?

i thought about welding up my sunroofs a few times.

so your headliner is perfect or you have discolored bits and it's hanging too?

headliner is falling down, but it's not discolored.

No. I don't think I leak anything. I think the foam just breaks down over time.

Cer,
Mine was looking like crap too....
I will see about getting a pic up of my fix...
If you are patient,
I was able to remove the clear coat from the area that was bad
Lightly sanded the wood left behind,
Used a varnish from home depot...
Light sanding between about 12 coats.
Looks great and matches up perfectly.
I just put a couple coats a day on. Did not tape off just free handed it.
Well worth it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I got bored at the office today and went out and just removed it by hand. Was super simple, no tools required. I should have taken before/after shots.

well let's assume the before shot is something like Jafir's post. how about an after shot? what did you do about that screw in piece above the box?

I left the screw in pieces in place because they looked decent. As far as an after shot it looks like any other Disco dash now, which looks way better than what I had.
