Replacing E-Brake Lever... How?
Hey everyone,
I'm in the middle of restoring my first Rover and so I've been getting stuck on some pretty basic things. The obstacle of the day: the parking brake!
I'm switching the center console and parking brake lever, shift ****, etc for replacements that I found at a junkyard. Looking at the parking brake lever, however, I have no idea how to separate it from the wire!
I've undone the two bolts at the base of the lever, and now I see there's a rubber grommet that seals the lever to the actual wire that runs under the car. On the wire are two nuts. How do I go about this? There's no material online that I can find, and I don't want to just wing it because the e-brake is kind of crucial. Thanks in advance!
