Replacing ECU harness
#11
Just wanted to give you all an update. Old harness was relatively easy to remove. I am about to put the new harness in. I got a new intake plenum gasket along with a new throttle body gasket but I am thinking it might be a good idea to do the injector O-rings while I am in there. Does anyone know a cheaper alternative then the O-rings from the dealer that cost 12$ each?

New harness went in perfectly, no problems or supprizes. Came with all new clips and mounts, battery alternator and starter cables etc. word of advice to anyone tempting this... Read the part number on the harness at the ecu. Secondary air trucks and non secondary air trucks have different harnesses and are not interchangeable. Also the harnesses do varry from year to year. The harness on my 2000 parts truck is different then the one on my 2003, minor but different.

Honestly, no supprizes... Relatively straight forward just time consuming. Rave does have step by step instructions on the job. If anyone has any specific questions just pm me.
