I have some 03/04 sets but Paul Grant my have some earlier sets for you.
Im a newbie here as well and i have a 03 discovery 2 and i have replaced the O2 sensors and done other work to it to try and pass the texas state inspection. Nothing has helped. The same codes come up at the inspection relating to the O2 sensors and evap system amd catylist syst amd one other. States that they are not ready. I am now thinking i may need to replace the ecu and bcm. I was wondering if you still had one of the sets you mentioned for the 03/04 discovery 2 and what you would let then go for.

before you go shooting the parts cannon at the problem, check the simple stuff. the codes won't go away on their own after you replace the o2 sensors -- you have to clear them yourself. diagnosis is going to be a lot easier if you can pull the codes before you clear them so that the collected wisdom here can weigh in on what the problem might be.

mollusc is right. I had a vehicle take 2000 miles for the last redness monitor to clear. Now when I have a stubborn one I first rest adaptions. If it's still stubborn I re load the software on the ECU.

It normally takes 50-100 miles of mixed highway and street driving for all monitors to clear, sounds like maybe you didn't drive it enough.

hi. I did clear all the codes and drove it but still wont pass. Maybe like you both say not enough driving around. I will continue to drive it around and hope it clears it. For the short time i have had it , i have enjoyed driving it around. Thanks and i will keep you both updated on what happens.

keep checking with an obd scanner. it should be able to tell you how many readiness indicators have passed, and what codes (if any) are developing or posting. to get all tests to readiness, you need to drive it -- a mixture of highway and surface-road speeds, with fluctuation between them. you won't pass inspection until a specified number of readiness tests have passed -- the actual number depends on your locale.

Yep, they truly are expensive pieces of crap, so difficult and expensive to repair they are not worth owning. I know, I have one I have been trying to make run again for over a year now, ran fine then last thanksgiving, I drove it to dinner, turned it off and it has never started again since, and I still can't get a straight or intelligent answer from anyone. Would never recommend anyone buy this crap. Plus no one ever has a good answer, if you can find anyone willing to help you for less than $200. I would give the damn thing away if I could find someone I hate that much.

Well, I have a love/hate relationship with my D2...mostly hate anymore.
I fix one thing, and 2 more break.
It has snowballed to the point of where I can either cut my losses(a ton of $), and get a few pennies for parts.
Or, continue spending money in the hopes of breaking even in the future.
I feel your pain.

And
If you have no power, nothing anywhere, it's probably something simple, even a bad ground can do that.
Chasing electrical gremlins is no fun, but likely can be fixed easier than you think.
Venting and frustrations aside;
Post a new thread(if you haven't already), and let's see if we can help you.

I have power everywhere except to the plugs. I replaced coil packs, flywheel sensor, ignition switch, but still no spark. Have fuel at the rail just no spark.

I also have so much money tied up in this piece of crap I can't afford to get rid of it. New tires, completely rebuilt front axles, seals and bearings, new clutch, brakes and rebuilt calipers, and new transfer case just installed a week before it quit running, a year ago to date.
