Default RIP Winston, the 2004 D2

My fellow Roverites,
I was informed today that the damage done to Winston (my daughter rear ended another car going only 15 mph. She's fine) has rendered him KIA. I've been on this board for all 14 years that I owned Winston. The assistance and humor provided here has been the only thing that has kept me from putting a 230 grain JHP through the block a long time ago.
It has been a privilege serving with you.

I have the following for sale, contact me via PM:
An unused, but connections made ABS Modulator repair kit & complete instructions, Discovery 2 from Falcon works https://www.jewellamberoil.com/sales...roducts_id=190
I have already done the trailer hitch connections and sealed the openings per Josh's Option B repair bible. The kit retails for $159.00 Make me a reasonable offer.
An genuine RSW Solutions ABS Amigo V1 USB TM. I am not sure if he is even in business any more! https://www.rswsolutions.com/index.p...d=56&Itemid=55
If you have an issue with your ABS, this is the tool you need. These retail (or did) for $200.00. Reasonable offer accepted.

Again, it has been an absolute blast being part of this crew. I wish you all trouble-free rovering!

She is fine. Thank you for asking. Severely bummed that her "cool ride" is no mas.

Did you have full coverage, if so, buy it back from insurance company for peanuts and repair it. 15 mph crash couldn't have done to much damage. Glad your daughter was okay, plus now, you can garnish her wages and off-set repair costs.😂 Good father/daughter project, too.

Did the impact effect the hood? How about the oil cooler and/or radiator? If not, I would definitely think about repairing it. It is pretty easy and a metal front bumper might look better than the (inevitably) cracked plastic version.

Whatever the outcome, thank you for helping me out with referrals in CT when I was shopping for a P38. Your help was terrific.

Hi Walt-
Yes hood needs to be replaced. I was at the body shop this morning, paying my final respects and getting the plates and stuff. It's got several fluid leaks.
Glad I could be of help!

Another item I have to part with is an Ultra Guage. Let me know via PM who cares.

I have totaled a vehicle and bought it back from the insurance company and rebuilt it. They gave me a check minus the salvage value. I did a rebuild, if you even want call it that, the damage was so minor it wasn’t that tough. I have no bodywork experience.

GET THAT DISCO BACK!!!!
