Default rivets on secondary air pump

Hi everyone,

In going through secondary air system trying to rectify code 1451 (leakage detection module motor power stage error) I noticed that one of the rivets holding the secondary air injection pump was broken.

Does anyone know if it is a standard size rivet?
Could this have anything to do with the error code?
How do you remove air filter in SAI and clean or replace?

Thanks so much for the help!

Thank you yloDiscoII. That thread is so helpful. Hey I might be relocating to Redmond soon, can you recommend a good LR mechanic?

No problem. I'll actually be attempting this filter change tonight myself.

I've had good experiences with Biggs Eastside. They are in Bellevue on Bel-Red Road. They are fair and know their stuff. I've heard stay away from LR Bellevue. Also heard good things about Lamorna Garage in Ballard. There's a shop that specializes in Series Rovers down in Olympia called British Pacific, haven't heard much good about them though.

If you end up in Redmond, let us know. There might be enough LR Forum-ers in the area that we could plan an outing!

Will do. Thanks for the referral. I have heard of Biggs Eastside before and know exactly where that is.
Cheers, Maggie

Default 04 disco II SAI

Hi, my SAI started squeling really loud as if the bearings were going, and has now stopped. Should I replace entire unit (found used online for decent price) or take apart first to see if fan clogged/not turning?
Also have the 3 amigos, but feel that was after driving it into a very sandy ditch, most likely clogging or breaking a sensor...
Thanks.
