Road trip help? O2 sensor died, mpg tanked. CenCal-SoCal
Hey y'all, posting here since there's a HUGE difference in the numbers here vs. the P38 section...
Halfway down the length of Oregon the MIL came on (I'd been noticing the odometer:fuel level ratio seemed a lot worse than I was expecting).
Pulled over and docked the computer - it' throwing 0133, 0134, 0135. All Bank 1 O2 failure codes. I cleared them and kept driving - made it into Napa a few hours ago, having bought twice as much fuel as I'd budgeted for and going a lot slower than my wife would like (headed down for our baby shower!)
Headed to L.A. on Wednesday morning. Any thoughts/ideas on where to pick up a used sensor to complete this trip? Anyone Bay Area to L.A. parting a truck or want to stick one in an envelope?
4.0 Bosch.
Thanks!

Thanks Abran!
Mike, I was watching live sensor data come out of the OBD port and made the call that perhaps it had resolved itself. That and I was in the middle of nowhere, so popping over to the parts store wasn't really an option. I should have stopped once hitting a more populated area, but it was running and not throwing any codes, so I thought maybe it was behaving.
The thing is, cats and engine are getting replaced after this trip is over anyway, so I really just want to make it there and back with as little cost and impact on our schedule as possible - within reason of course. I also want a working truck.
