Roof Painting
#21
Hello, did you manage to paint your roof? If so, I would like to know the type of paint you used. Are there paints specifically designed for roofs? I have found a paint that seems suitable for my project, but before making a final decision, I would like to explore other options to ensure I make the most informed choice possible. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your assistance!

Why not just use a vinyl wrap on the roof? You can always remove it if need be, and it's much cheaper than painting.

I did not paint it, I got a quote for $2k from a local shop. Stripped to bare metal, primed and painted. He does high end work and from what he described, I was comfortable with the number. I just got busy and did not have time to drop it off. I still need to get it done. I am considering doing a white plasti dip to see how I like it. If i did not have black powder coated wheels it would be a no-brainer. I just cant picture a white roof, or creme, and black wheels. It would have to stripped anyway to paint it, so might as well give it a shot
There are too many compound corners and curves for my abilit to wrap the roof. Plus the rack would have to come off, just another step that if I were to get it painted that is fine, but for temporary solution, I would rather not.
