Walked into the local pick 'n save to get a trim piece for my car. As I was walking out I noticed a green D2 with the hood raised and engine missing. As I got closer to the truck I saw that a bunch of stuff was piled inside, opened the tailgate and BOOM! A ****ing locking transfer case, already pulled, and waiting for me.



I gave the shaft a spin, toggled the lock, everything works.


$60 out the door, didn't even have to get my hands dirty. :-D


Gonna order the rebuild kit from AB (Transfer Box Gasket & Seal Kit LT230 (RTC3890 Same Fit As Part # RTC3890 ) - Land Rover kits from Atlantic British) and install this in my 2003/D2 in a couple weeks.
