Default The Disco Gods won't stop picking on me..

I've done everything possible to keep this Discovery in pristine condition. I don't off-road, I won't go over bumps really hard.. nothing even slightly extreme.

SES light comes on today.... after it being in the shop for 6 weeks, 3 weeks ago...

0134
0135
0441
1668

134 and 135 are for left front 02 sensor, it has failed.
441, Is for incorrect purge flow

I've had the O2 sensors changed...

Incorrect purge flow?

why would 1668 come up?

.

I think that's the problem. Disco's love hitting bumps hard and going off-road.

Incorrect Purge Flow is an emissions issue iirc.

Check your gas cap, if it isnt on tight enough you can get a emmission code.
Or if it is defective.

hah! Well.. in deep south texas, the only thing close to off road that we have is a highway under construction. haha!.. well.. I could try and cross the border..hmm

anyway! :] It's also very uncomfortable to go over bumps really hard. The truck feels too heavy, and I feel like it would just fall apart if I do.. honestly.. but. I don't have enough money to get the suspension all changed out...

oh the dilemmas.. hah!

Now wait a minute. Disco's are DESIGNED to be taken off-road. Taking a Disco off-road, or down trails, etc., will not cause the issues you have. Disco's do not need to have aftermarket suspension parts, or lifts or oversize tires for general purpose off-road use. They work just fine. In any situation, if you "hit" something underneath you may damage a part, but in general Disco's have a fairly good chassis height for a stock 4-wheel drive truck.

oh I definitely agree with you, Phototone! :]

I guess I was just talking that my suspension needs to be replaced because i don't feel very stable in my truck.

If I do want to replace the suspenion, are there any replacement shocks and springs that won't requirement me to mess with my SLS?
