Running Board Mounting Advice
hi - I have a pair of running boards, complete with brackets. No mounting hardware though.
I know that the kit - now obsolete - had spacers etc. but I can't think of what I could use instead. Insult to injury I think the bolts on the LR are metric and something like a coupling nut I can only get in imperial.
Anyone had experience of reattaching these boards after market without the LR proper bolts?
Please and thanks!

I went to fastenal and bought 4 metric coupling nuts, and the metric threaded rod. Cut long, installed the boards and cut off the excess rod. Was a piece of cake. I think it cost about 30. For the nuts, rod, and regular nuts
do you know, off hand, what sizes you needed to buy for the rod and coupling nut?
FYI -
The coupling nuts are M10. Got them at fastenal. Instead of removing the bolts and then attaching them, I just screwed them in with the remainder of the bolt showing after the nut.
