I have an 1998 land rover discovery, 8 ciylander running on 6 not by choice, coil bank 1-2 are not fireing properly, i have replaced the bank, and still nothing. i'm outta thoughts on what to check, .. so even past that i was driving today it was running good, then it stalled while i was driving. i had enough momentem to get in to a parking lot, then put it into park, and tried to turn it over......nothing.... i'm so pissed, i'm ready to set fire to it,.... just got new o2 sensors, $235 later... does any one know what i can look for or check next...my money pit is pissing me off!!!

 

actually the coil is supposed to 2 and 3, and one and six on the other coil.

you will need to check things like fuel pressure and spark. I have sneaky suspicion its an issue with the ecu though if the coil isnt firing though. the ecu grounds the coil.
