Default Sadness. Found a video of my Disco

Seeing my Discovery again.
The "Black Beauty" coming off of a car transport.

Sadness.

Was a great great Discovery.

Alas nope.
Sold it in 2014 I think.

After replacing head gaskets in it and all that. And had new tires on it.
Was not the time to sell it.

But other influences in my life wanted it gone.

I thought the engine was toast when it started to gobble down antifreeze.

But that was just head gaskets.

And after head gaskets replaced - it kept going.

Maybe the new owner is on this board. Hard to tell.

Someone bought it in San Diego and drove it up to San Jose.

Here is the head gasket replacement.
First time ever.
I got very lucky.

Maybe from reading about how to do it from this board.

Found this video.
More pain for me.
I remember buying this new in Seattle in Dec 1997.
Never sell a Discovery which you bought new.
No matter what..

I hate looking back through the pics of the ones I sold, some really make me sad that I did it.

Every time I see a pic of one of my old 1995 RRCs I cry like a baby knowing what they bring on ebay now. I'm just glad I still have a few.
