Default SAI hoses and pending codes...

So while replacing the tstat, bleeding coolant, fumbling around under the hood I broketeded the vacuum hose for the SAI, a really tiny skinny hose. Now Im getting pending codes all the time P1415 and P1417 which are for SAI, where I get said hose? Or rather the size? Can I use a universal hose on there?

System will be happy if you replace with good fitting universal hose that can take the temperature. That hose is trying to operate a valve and the system is testing periodically to see that it does work, and telling you that it does not. Because it is vac hose, you don't want the most wimpy stuff that will collapse under a vacuum.

Slice off a piece of original and head to parts store. If you have something on hand use it, but maybe look to see if something better is available.

try checking fuel injection hose if you can find it in the correct size, it is much stronger that standard rubber hose.
