Default SAI valve

How would I test my SAI valves? Or more to the point, how would I confirm that a used one works?

Also, does anyone know of a kit of vacuum lines that i should replace while im in there?

the valve is a spring loaded valve, when vacuum is applied the valve opens up. I just put on on a small tube to the valve and applied suction, while holding the valve to see if there was any movement and i could feel something kind of click or move. then i put my tongue on the tube i was applying suction to, to see if it would hold a vacuum and it did. when i released, i felt it move back. I believe the two things that can go wrong, 1 the valve sticks open or closed, 2 the vacuum diaphragm inside has a hole in it. valve sticking can usually be cleaned out with carb cleaner, compressed air, then applying vacuum on and off until it is freed up. hole in diaphragm cannot be fixed.
hope this helps som
