true, but if the rover was to fall off..... extra safety there. along with having the winch line winch to the dolly its self

today, I just towed a new to me '95 DI ( major score ! $500.00 ) for nycity to upstate NY..320 miles....with my D2....on a car dolly, rear driveshaft un hooked.......
2 things.....
1. don't plan on going fast, and
2. make damn sure your brakes are in good shape......they were only designed to stop 1 rover....not 2 at a time ! LOL

Thanks everyone.... sounds like i'll be removing the rear drive shaft and towing.
