Default Seafoam then no smoke?

I followed the thread directions last night to add Seafoam but after I let it sit I started it up and no smoke, drove several miles no smoke. Does anyone know what this means?

Means you didn't follow the directions. Tell us exactly what you did and did you use the new style Seafoam can with the attached hose and did you turn off the engine as soon as the can was empty?

It was the old style. I added the can via the vacuum hose then immediately turned the engine off as soon as it was all in the I dumped a bottle in the gas tank, cleaned the throttle body then let sit 30 min. Came back started her up and drove.

How quickly did the bottle empty?? Did you let it run in pretty slow? I can't imagine how you didnt have any smoke if you did it right... not calling you out, just surprised.

You were surprised you should of seen the look on my face. I was expecting to smoke out the county. I made sure it drained very slowly. On the next tank I will try again and go even slower, and use a helper to make sure it drains slowly from the very moment that engine turns over, I'll see if that makes a difference. Probably this weekend when I plan on Replace the wiper arms with D1 arms, replacing the spark plugs and wires and changing the oil.

You don't have to put a bottle in the gas tank every time you do an induction cleaning. Just FYI.

Are you 100% sure you put it in the right place??

If you add it really slow, you'll start to see/smell smoke during the adding process. You'll even see smoke/steam if you do the same induction cleaning with just water....

I am not sure where it went but I am willing to bet you accidentally used the wrong hose to suction it up. Like you were expecting it should be smoking like nothing else as you giggle while thinking about your neighbors thinking your car just blew up.
