Can anyone tell me what they have done when you have these?

P0412 Secondary Air Injection System Switching Valve ACircuit Malfunction

P0414 - Secondary AirInjection System Switching Valve A Circuit Shorted

Patience Grasshopper. Not everyone sits on the thread all day. I don't have secondary air, so I'm no help.

 

okay, I did some research in the rave and this is what I found:

Both of your codes are related to the SAI vacuum solenoid valve. I would check to make sure that the plug is plugged all the way into the valve and the little metal clip is holding it firmly in place. Also make sure that the pins in the solenoid are not bent and blow out the plug with an air compressor to make sure there is no water in there and then pack some dielectric grease in the plug and hook it back up. The vacuum solenoid is located right next to the purge valve.

Follow the wire harness and make sure there isn't and short in it. If everything else looks good then I would recommend getting a new vacuum solenoid- Solenoid - Secondary Air Injection (Genuine Part # YDJ100000) - Land Rover miscellaneous from Atlantic British
