Default Seized break calliper...again.

Truck is a D2 2000 with approx 170 miles on it.

Ruffly 1 year ago I had my amigos come on and I traced it back to the rear passenger side calliper seizing. The breaks worked but they would not fully release, which caused my pads to wear down quickly.
I bought new pads and bought an entire new caliber. Problem was fixed. one year later, Just a couple days ago I heard and felt scraping. After inspecting the rear breaks I founds the same side having the same problem. The pads were pretty much gone. The other side has over 50% on the pads.
I put new pads in and it seems to bed driving fine.
Could this be a complete fluke and I'm having the same issue with the same side all over again? i'm not sure what else to look for.
What else could be prematurely wearing my pads down?

Don't laugh but part of me is a bit excited thinking that I might be able to get better milage once I fix this issue.

Thanks for any help.

have you check the caliper glides are they frozen?, you should be able to squeeze them closed with your fingers and the should spring back under there own power.
if the glide are not moving they will only let the caliper move one way, and ware out the pads on one side of the caliper.

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes when I changed the pads I checked them and they both moved easily.

You should pull that caliper apart and see what is binding things up? Or replace it.
