I recently ordered a new belt tensioner assembly and serpentine belt (no ACE) and am wondering the average install time? I believe I'm dealing with a crooked mechanic who is trying to overcharge me!! Any comments will help thanks

I recently changed two idler pulleys belt and tensioner in about an hour. I'm no mechanic.

If he is suggesting it's more than one hours labour time I would ask why.

Edit. It was my first time doing it. And I didn't rush. Fan doesnt need to come off.
