Default Service Engine Soon Light Code - HELP!!

2003 Disco II SE7, 84,500

So my 'Service Engine Soon' light came on last night. This morning I had it scanned at Advanced Auto Parts. The only thing that came back was: P1173-Manual Control Fuel Metering.

So now my question is, do I need to take this to a shop or Rover dealership and possibly be charged for something I could do? The guy said he never came across a Land Rover before but he mentioned something about it could be just changing the plugs. Again, if anyone knows what my first step should be, it would be of great help! Thanks.

Thanks so much for the help. Any idea as to roughly time and effort this takes to repair? Just trying to plan on cost and whatnot.
