Default Service Engine Soon light - need help - have codes

I keep getting emission codes and I dont want to throw money at parts (o2 sensors, purge valve , gas cap) that may not fix the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The codes are: P1481 , P1171 , P1174pd , and P0441pd.

thanks,

-Aaron

I cannot find anything in the Rave manual about P1481 or P0441 but P1171 and P1174 lean on banks 1 and 2. You are not getting any O2 specific codes that I can see. The other codes from a google search seam to suggest a purge valve or maybe a bad fuel pump. Not really areas I know too well but I will give you a free bump. I would start to read the rave cd on fuel deivery to trouble shoot your fuel system someone will come along soon with better advice..

481, is a fault code for your cooling fan control malfunction, this is the most important cause most likely your electric fan is not coming on either with the a/c on or at operating temp while doing stop and go driving.
441 is an incorrect purge flow for the evap system, valve may be going bad.
Can't find the 1481 and for now, I wouldn't worry about the 2 lean codes till additional codes show up to give you more specific information.
