I would clean/replace the air filter to the SAI.

Until you do the tune up not much else we can help you with.

 

I have done some searching, is the air filter for the charcoal canister the same as the sir filter so the sai as you referred?

I've been looking on their site at filters.

I will see about the tuneup as soon as I can. Any ideas on finding a reasonable adapter for the coolant test. I am hesitating to do the tuneup until I find the coolant leak just in case I have to do head gaskets. I don't want to do all that reaching for the wires only to find out I will be removing everything.
