Default SLABS Wiring Question

Anyone know what this connector does/ why it’s not connected? It comes from the SLABS into the engine compartment and is not connected to anything. Also found these 2 wires that are left hanging inside under the ECU. I’m tracking down ABS problems left over from the previous owner who did everything he could to hide this issue.

Someone installed the ABS Sensors which have longer wires which run all the way to the SLABS unit. I honesty can't stand those!

I was wondering if that’s what happened. Still confused about those 2 loose metal connectors - they come from a wiring harness and are left disconnected, whereas the unconnected ABS connector runs into that orange/yellow header. All are green wires and show in the electrical diagram as front LH and RH..

Could you help me understand here - all 8 of the wheel speed sensors should be in this CO505 plug. 2 of the green ones are coming from the sensor plug that is disconnected in the engine compartment, and the other two are dangling there coming up from inside a wiring harness in the dash. Does this seem correct? Seems like if the plug in the engine comp is disconnected those wires shouldn’t be running into the SLABs still.
