so i did my T-case fluid today,,
drain is right near the cross member,,,no issue.
but their was no fill on the back side that i could find. i looked all over and what stood out was a large 22mm 6 sided plug in the driver side of the t-case near the top of the housing. i pulled it and sure enough it had gear oil on it and a hole big enough to put the pump hose in.
so that is were i filled it from with 2qts of 85-140. also on the case was "JAP" written in paint pen. appeared to be something written from the factory. but i was wondering at all if LR sourced different cases from difference manufacturers and is it normal for a 04 disco to have the fill plug where mine was. seems everyone else i have read about was on the rear of the housing near the brake drum.
