Default Some Maintenance done...

I changed my wires to magnacores (gonna do plugs tommorow) (my old wires were very stiff)

Changed diff oils, this time added lucas gear oil supplement

Got "EMISSIONS MAINTENANCE REMINDER" relay and installed it (was missing altogether previously)

Now when I drive, I do not notice any gains in power or acceleration in the lower end, but around 3000 RPMs my car is much quicker at accelerating.

was this the magnacores?

If so I can't wait till I get new plugs... going with +4s, not sure if the iridiums are worth it

i have run +4's (briefly) in a vehicle.

i run iridium's in all of my vehicles. when i do the plugs in the rover it will be to iridium's. in my experience there is no question on the swap to iridium plugs.

they are worth it,,,

Another thing i've noticed that has been happening recently is when I am starting my car sometimes it starts after 1 or 2 seconds

Other times It begins to turn then all the sudden all I can hear is the starter spinning, so stop turning the key and I hear the starter still turning until it all the sudden stops, then it starts as normal

can the starter slip or lose connection to the engine somehow? does this sound like any specific problem or do I need to describe it better?

could be the flywheel missing teeth or teeth wearing out. or the starter solenoid is crapping out

Your starter is going bad.
When you turn the key to start there is a shaft inside the starter with a gear on it, that gear kicks out and engages the teeth on the flywheel and then the high touqre starter motor turns the engine over fast enough for it to start running on its own.
One of the signs of a starter going bad is this gear not engaging the flywheel.
