Some questions about water crossing
Desire the capability to water cross and finally ordered a Mantec. Now that the airflow issue is addressed what else can be done to prevent water, mud, silt and other **** from getting in where they shouldn't? Ive heard that you should change your diff fluids after water crossings? Is this true? How does water get inside the diffs? What about the transmission and transfer case?
PS: Returning to NH in afew weeks and will have updates and pics soon. Just trying to get the last bit of last minute parts ordered and things squared away before I get back.

Truck is good for 22" of water, as I recall, from the factory. Already has vent tubes for the diffs to keep out water. The snorkel will keep the airbox and filter dry. You already have a two inch lift that adds to the 22" factory coverage. Next ideal mod would probably be an electric fan to replace the clutch fan. You can add a kill switch to turn off the fan during water crossings. The fan will otherwise be chopping water and making a wet mess under the hood(bonnet).
