Sounds like you need to bring this to someone who knows electronics. Based on your other posts, it seems that you have a mess on your hands. Let me guess, you bought this from some kid who liked to "customize" it.
Really - you need someone who can identify stock wiring and remove everything that ISN'T with extreme prejudice. Then wire whatever accessories you want to keep properly. If your idea of figuring out if a breaks is bad is to replace it, you likely don't have the electronics skills or tools to do it. If you can, fond someone who will teach you as its getting worked on. This stuff isn't hard - but you do need to know how to do things or you end up in the situation you're in now.
