so I have noticed sometimes when I hit my brakes as I come to a complete stop I can hear a quick little whiring sound that lasts about 3 seconds. it sounds like a small vacuum pump or something. like the same sound a cd makes when it takes a cd in, or ejects it. I have played with sound a lot and it is certainly linked to the brake system

ABS is possible, but when did you last actually check your pads for a possible warn pad?

yeah it stops great. actually it seemed like after I started hearing the noise it's stopping better. I have never checked the pads but I had a safety inspection wednesday and they said they were fine.

 

Then I would not worry about it.
