Default Source for HD Springs?

All,

I need to replace my front terrafirma +3 MD springs with HD springs from +3 to +5. I have two inch pucks at the bottom so +5 would be best but not required;+3 would work. .

Does anyone know a good source on the Internet them? I've read bronco springs will work but I haven't chased that to a firm answer yet.

Reason: about to put heavier engine in and already have ARB bumper and winch.

Best,

Charles

I don't think anyone makes the 5" lift springs anymore. I know www.lucky8llc.com used to offer a 4.5" spring. Not sure if they still do though. Might be worth giving them a call.

What about putting 3" HD Rear Springs in the front of the Disco, since they are supposed to give +/- 2 inches in stock form.

Just put TF015s in the front with the rear D1 spring seats.

I called RTE and they have 4.5 inch springs but they are progressive rate and based on weight they won't work. They suggested Bronco springs from a 77 to 81.

For posterity I found them at Jeff's Bronco Boneyard. The require an ever so slight modification but will work to maintain my lift and carry the weight. 90 bucks a pair.

Ryan and Bill at RTE were extremely helpful in figuring this out.

I am not sure on the Landy, but I had a Fiat where the springs were longer on the left side. This was done to balance out the weight of the driver.
