Default Spark Plug and Wires

I have a 99 DII anyone have a good idea on what kind or wires and plugs to buy. I was thinking magnecor wires with Bosch 2 plugs but can't find the wires, except through Roverconnection.com but i havent anything about the company so im alittle iffy. Any suggestions on what and where to buy 8mm wires and plugs that have people are confident about recommending. Thanks... Oh yea it looks like a pain in the... any easy why to do them or just manage with a few @#$%#@@#$@#$@.

Stay with the Factory wires and plugs. They are Bosch and have few issues. Why are you replacing them ? You will not get any performance boost by doing so.

You have to remove the intake plenum to do so and the gasket is around $ 60.00 . If you want to do some mods, improve airflow and exhaust flow.

The plugs are as old as the car which is a 99 and they have 115K on them. So i figured since they have never been done i'd do it before they go and cause me problems. I dont know what the service life on them are either. But you do have to take the plenum off i got back there by reaching and i could reach all 8 wires without removing it are you sure. I'm new so im not positive and i did not try to remove them just felt where they were. What do you think about changing them? should i wait and spendmy money on other toys is the service life a long time.? Thanks

kfordric,

I forgot you don't have secondary air injection. If you have small hands you can get to the coil ends. Definitely replace the plugs. Any spark plug on any vehicle should be removed and inspected at least every 60K. I wouldn't bother with the wires unless you have a bad one. Even then, stay OEM. Unless you are going to totally change your ignition around with a multiple spark system.
