Question Speed Wobble at 52mph, then goes away

hey all. ok so i was out having fun and found a rut that gave the truck a good jolt at about 15mph. no problems or leaks, but driving home my truck felt alot smoother and turned a little less sharply. kind of floating, in a good way.

but at 52mph and nowhere else, i have a sizable wobble in the steering wheel.

i can't mess with it this week, but i'm driving 150+ mi home next week. i'm going to get my alignment checked and see if that fixes it.

thoughts? anyone else dealt with this?

thanks!

Bent your drag link or steering linkage? I bent my drag link and the steering felt like it was floating, I did not get a wobble though.

Nothing... besides my time to bend things straight.

exactly! it's traveling like 2-4inches l/r by itself right on the money. my next job is rotating my tires and getting them rebalanced. i bet you money i lost a weight on that big hole.

thank you thank you thank you thank you. i'll take a look at the linkage next week and get my wheels looked at.

then it's on to getting my vibration in my new driveshaft fixed. ha.

always something, but i love it. absolutely. i appreciate all the help!
