Default Spot the Oil Leak

Do you think it’s the main seal or that oil pressure switch leaking? Also any clue about how to clean up the cap on the side?

That's the cam sensor...not oil pressure sender.

Replace crank seal, you're that far. Just check your harmonic balancer over good (surface where seal rides).

I believe, there are o-rings on those plugs (from reading topics here, no personal knowledge). After looking at that plug again, l'm not so sure it's leaking anything out of there...looks like whatever is making oil stain is from above.

All of those leaks are because you have not done the PCV mod, do that and everything will stop leaking. Tighten the VC bolts too.

Yea it’s on order. I’ve got some time now that I snapped a bolt torquing the coolant pump.

Would the PCV mod fix the leaks or do seals need to be replaced?

I did pull the camshaft sensor and put some RTV around the edge.

The PCV mod solves an issue that sort of makes leaks much worse. The stock PCV clogs up and creates a higher-than-normal crankcase pressure, which needs to escape one way or another, and if it's not through a properly working PCV, it's coming out the weakest seals first.

Also, you can order an o-ring for the camshaft sensor (https://www.roverparts.com/engine/ga...eals/ERR4815G/) P/N ERR4815G.

The PCV mod won't stop existing leaks, but after replacing bad seals, will prevent them from happening as often or as frequently as they've been.
